Eventful

Such a contented feeling to be home! And such meeting ups too :)

1. Bumped into my student who was working in Coffee Bean while I was ordering. Boy he is so big now! Was only 15 the last time I taught him. He gave me a staff discount and sat down to chat with me. And told me the naughtiest of the lot, is now a training pilot!! *smiles* And he himself is representing Malaysia in Karate!

Oh how my children has grown!

Kidding. That was just a bit of drama.

2. This is a shocker. I was buying biscuits before I went to the airport on my last day in Penang, when somebody said,

Auntie: Ah girl, lu be jin wa liao ar? (Ah girl, you can't recognise me already?)

I looked up. And my jaw fell.

That woman behind the counter, is ... is none other than the woman who used to sell stationery in the small stationery shop in my freaking PRIMARY school!!!!! And no, I haven't bumped into her for the last 12 years. And no, I am not particularly close to her. And NO, I am not one of those wandering kids who like to hang around in the stationery shop!

HOW HOW HOW is that possible!!!!????? Beats me. She remembered me as though it was just yesterday that I came out of primary school. Freaky right? I was in a state of shock throughout my journey to the airport.
